Rules of the Road

They knew the rules.
But they broke them anyway.
Now someone’s hurt—and no one’s stepping up.
We see it too often in the Permian. Companies push deadlines. Crews cut corners. Safety takes a backseat to speed. Until someone gets crushed, burned, or buried—and suddenly, nobody remembers who was in charge.
This post is for anyone who’s been injured, or had someone close to them hurt, because someone else gambled with safety.
Let’s talk about what to do:
Get medical care.
Report everything.
Write names down.
Take photos immediately.
Save your gear and clothes.
Don’t talk to their lawyer.
Don’t post anything online.
Talk to a lawyer who tries cases.
Don’t wait—evidence disappears fast.
Find out if there’s a pattern of violations.
Get someone who knows West Texas juries.
Companies will pretend to care—until you sue.
If they ignored rules, they can be forced to pay.
Every injury deserves answers.
Every victim deserves justice.
Sometimes that only happens in court.
